Description:
This set of eight antique oak Gothic-style dining chairs dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's and was crafted in France.
Each chair has a tall architectural back filled with pierced tracery, pointed arches, circular floral motifs, and carved finials. The wood seats are supported by carved legs, Gothic apron details, and stretcher bases. Subtle variations in the tracery and cresting give each chair individual character while maintaining a cohesive appearance. The dramatic proportions and large matching set make these chairs especially well suited to a dining room, library, chapel-inspired interior, or ceremonial seating arrangement.
Like all our antiques, it was thoughtfully sourced in Europe, to be imported to our Oregon warehouse, and carefully finished with antique-grade paste wax to preserve its beauty for years to come.
Condition:
The chairs are in very good antique condition, with minor wear, surface marks, and finish variation consistent with age and use.

Shipping:
Large items are carefully blanket-wrapped and delivered by trusted small-business transport companies experienced in handling antiques and fine furniture. This personalized service does not use parcel-style tracking. We arrange transport based on route availability and notify the customer of the scheduled pickup date; the transporter then contacts the customer at least 24 hours before delivery. Transit typically takes 4-8 weeks. Delivery is to one accessible entry point; inside placement, unpacking, and setup are not included unless arranged in advance. We recommend inspecting the item upon arrival. Shipping is included in the list price for delivery within the contiguous United States.
