Description:
This beautifully carved bench is from the Brittany (Breton) region of northern France and dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's. It is hand crafted in solid oak that has been finished quite dark. It's quite practical with lots of storage under the hinged seat. It is solidly built, sturdy and strong.
Condition:
This bench is in very good antique condition with minor nicks and scratches consistent with its age.

46" tall, 44.5" wide and 19" deep (front to back).
