Description
This English oak sectional library bookcase dates to the early 1900s and was crafted in England by Minty Limited, Library Specialists of Oxford.
Designed for practical book and collection storage, the cabinet separates into three stacked sections for easier transport and placement. Four hinged leaded-glass doors protect the upper shelves while keeping their contents visible, and two raised-panel doors provide enclosed storage below. The warm oak grain, shallow profile, dark metal hardware, and molded crown give the piece the classic appearance of traditional English library furniture.
The original Minty Limited maker's label remains attached inside one of the upper doors. This bookcase' compact width and generous storage make it well suited for a home library, office, living room, or collection display.
Like all our antiques, it was thoughtfully sourced in Europe, to be imported to our Oregon warehouse, and carefully finished with antique-grade paste wax to preserve its beauty for years to come.
Condition
This piece is in very good antique condition, with minor wear consistent with age and use. It has been inspected and shows no signs of active woodworm or dry rot. The leaded glass is intact. Minor surface marks and wear are visible on the interior and back, as shown in the photographs.

Shipping
Large items are carefully blanket-wrapped and delivered by trusted small-business transport companies experienced in handling antiques and fine furniture. This personalized service does not use parcel-style tracking. We arrange transport based on route availability and notify the customer of the scheduled pickup date; the transporter then contacts the customer at least 24 hours before delivery. Transit typically takes 4-8 weeks. Delivery is to one accessible entry point; inside placement, unpacking, and setup are not included unless arranged in advance. We recommend inspecting the item upon arrival. Shipping is included in the list price for delivery within the contiguous United States.
Local Pickup
Local customers are welcome to visit our Oregon warehouse to inspect items prior to purchase and to arrange pickup. Local pickup includes no shipping or handling charges.
