Description:
This elegant 15-panel boiserie set dates to the early 1900's and was crafted in France. Together, the panels create approximately 36' 6" of architectural wall paneling with a consistent 100" height. The shaped inset panels, off-white painted finish, and gilded outlines give the set a refined French interior character.
The substantial construction combines heavy fir frames with thick, old-style plywood inner panels. The varied widths allow the set to be adapted to a large room, entry, dining room, library, retail interior, or custom architectural installation. The first five photographs show all 15 panels included in the lot, while photographs of the backs show the construction details.
Like all our antiques, it was thoughtfully sourced in Europe, imported to our Oregon warehouse.
Condition:
This set is in very good antique condition, with wear consistent with age and use. The wood remains strong and has been inspected, with no signs of active woodworm or dry rot. Some narrow trim strips are missing along portions of the panel edges; these areas may be cleaned up or finished as needed during installation. The multiple layers of off-white paint and gilded decoration are in fair to good antique condition, with limited chipping and peeling. Please review the photographs closely for condition details.

We arrange transport based on route availability and notify the customer of the scheduled pickup date; the transporter then contacts the customer at least 24 hours before delivery. Transit typically takes 4-8 weeks. Delivery is to one accessible entry point; inside placement, unpacking, and setup are not included unless arranged in advance. We recommend inspecting the item upon arrival. Shipping is included in the list price for delivery within the contiguous United States.
Local Inspections & Pickup:
Local customers are welcome to visit our Oregon warehouse to inspect the panels prior to purchase and arrange pickup. Local pickup includes no shipping or handling charges.
