This is an extraordinary pair of antique stained & painted glass windows, signed by the Brussels, Belgium glassmaker B. Bardenhewer, and dated 1907. They were removed from a church several years ago and have been stored since. We have them in their original condition and have attempted no restoration or cleaning. The larger one is 14' tall and the smaller one 12' tall. They are set in their original Gothic revival wooden frames with pointed arches and tracery. These windows would make an extraordinary architectural statement in a home, chapel, or restoration project.
Condition: These antique windows are in very good antique condition for their age, with some expected wear and damage from use and time. The glass panels remain stable within the frame, and the colors retain their brilliance. There are 2 small segments (1" across) missing from the smaller window and 1 (2" across) segment missing from the larger window. There is one 6" diameter cracked segment on the larger window. There are 2 adjacent panels that were previously removed from one of the windows and replaced with textured glass (see photos). Several panes are bulged but very solid in their leading. The wooden frames show some dry rot along the bottom edges due to long term weathering. The iron support bars are corroded but solid.

The larger window is 167" tall and 66" wide. The smaller one is 148" by 58" (both including frame)
