Description:
This lovely Gothic oak cabinet dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's and was crafted in France. It has a warm medium-brown finish and an elaborate architectural design. Details include pierced Gothic cresting, carved tracery panels, floral motifs, and small figural supports. The open shelf provides an attractive display area, while the lower cabinet offers enclosed storage with an interior shelf.
At only 14-1/4" deep, this cabinet has a surprisingly compact footprint. It would work well in an entry, dining room, library, or home bar. It could also be used to display sculpture, religious art, or a special collection.
Like all our antiques, it was thoughtfully sourced in Europe and will be imported to our Oregon warehouse, where it will be carefully finished with antique-grade paste wax to preserve its beauty for years to come.
Condition:
This piece is in very good antique condition, with minor wear, surface marks, and finish variations consistent with age and use.
Dimensions:
Approximately 67" high x 31-1/2" wide x 14-1/4" deep
Shipping:
Large items are carefully blanket-wrapped and delivered by trusted small-business transport companies experienced in handling antiques and fine furniture. This personalized service does not use parcel-style tracking. We arrange transport based on route availability and notify the customer of the scheduled pickup date; the transporter then contacts the customer at least 24 hours before delivery. Transit typically takes 4-8 weeks. Delivery is to one accessible entry point; inside placement, unpacking, and setup are not included unless arranged in advance. We recommend inspecting the item upon arrival. Shipping is included in the list price for delivery within the contiguous United States.
