Description:
These classically styled bronze candlesticks date to the late 1800's/early 1900's and are from France. The most likely original use would have been in a church, although they would work in any Gothic decor setting. They are quite heavy, very well made and nicely detailed. The bronzework is lightly patinated from age to a perfect antique finish and there is some verdigris here and there.
Condition:
They are in very good antique condition, straight and solid with no damage except for some slightly bent places here and there, including the candle spikes (see photos).
