Description:
This nicely patinated faux painted panel is from France and it dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's. It was recovered from a large door. The decorations in the center are applied pieces made from plaster. The panel itself is vertical grain old growth fir.
Condition:
The panel is in very good antique condition with some chips, nicks and scratches in the paint. As you can see some of the applied pieces are chipped off and missing. The edges show the unfinished old wood and the back is in original unfinished condition.
Dimensions:
Each panel 62.5" tall, 24" wide and 2.5" thick.
