Description:
This matching pair of antique wall shelves dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's and was crafted in France. Each piece has three open display shelves arranged against paneled backs decorated with deep linenfold-style carving. Turned supports, pendant finials, shaped wall brackets, and molded edges give the shelves strong architectural detail.
Along the top, a pierced Gothic gallery combines repeating pointed motifs with a rope-twist rail and tall shaped finials. The dark brown finish highlights the wood grain and gives the pair a warm, established patina. These shelves provide practical display space for books, pottery, religious objects, or other collections while creating a balanced arrangement on the wall.
Like all our antiques, it was thoughtfully sourced in Europe, imported to our Oregon warehouse, and carefully finished with antique-grade paste wax to preserve its beauty for years to come.
Condition:
This pair is in very good antique condition, with minor wear, scuffs, scratches, and finish variation consistent with age and use. The backs show additional surface wear and areas of old paint residue from prior installation. Please review all photos closely for condition details.

Shipping:
Large items are carefully blanket-wrapped and delivered by trusted small-business transport companies experienced in handling antiques and fine furniture. This personalized service does not use parcel-style tracking. We arrange transport based on route availability and notify the customer of the scheduled pickup date; the transporter then contacts the customer at least 24 hours before delivery. Transit typically takes 4-8 weeks. Delivery is to one accessible entry point; inside placement, unpacking, and setup are not included unless arranged in advance. We recommend inspecting the item upon arrival. Shipping is included in the list price for delivery within the contiguous United States.
Local Pickup:
Local customers are welcome to visit our Oregon warehouse to inspect items prior to purchase and to arrange pickup. Local pickup includes no shipping or handling charges.
