This antique tilt-top wine tasting table dates to the late 1800's or early 1900's and was crafted in France.
Made from mixed fruitwoods, the table has a 26" round top and a warm natural finish. The top tilts vertically for compact storage, a practical feature associated with traditional French wine tasting tables. Its petite proportions make it equally useful as a side, end, lamp, or drinks table.
The simple round form, aged patina, and natural variations in the wood give the table an inviting, time-worn character. Its smaller scale is especially practical for rooms where space is limited.
Like all our antiques, it was thoughtfully sourced in Europe, to be imported to our Oregon warehouse, and carefully finished with antique-grade paste wax to preserve its beauty for years to come.
Condition:
This table is in very good antique condition, with minor nicks, discolorations, scratches, and other wear consistent with age and use. There is a minor separation in the tabletop caused by natural wood shrinkage over time. Please see the photographs for details.
