Description:
This antique European Gothic oak hutch dates to the late 1800’s and bears the date 1881 in a carved front panel. Its tall, narrow form combines generous display and storage space within a 42" wide footprint. A carved monogram adds a personalized detail.
The upper section has two open shelves, a paneled back, pointed arches, carved brackets, and a pierced Gothic gallery. Four drawers provide organized storage above the paneled double-door cupboard, which opens to interior shelving. Decorative metal strap hinges, escutcheons, working locks, and geometric carved panels complete the design. It can serve as a dining-room hutch, kitchen cupboard, bar cabinet, bookcase, or display cabinet.
Like all our antiques, it was thoughtfully sourced in Europe, to be imported to our Oregon warehouse, and carefully finished with antique-grade paste wax to preserve its beauty for years to come.
Condition:
This piece is in very good antique condition, with minor wear, chips, and scratches consistent with age and use. It has been inspected and shows no signs of active woodworm or dry rot. The cabinet is structurally sound, and the hardware and locks operate as intended.

Shipping:
Large items are carefully blanket-wrapped and delivered by trusted small-business transport companies experienced in handling antiques and fine furniture. This personalized service does not use parcel-style tracking. We arrange transport based on route availability and notify the customer of the scheduled pickup date; the transporter then contacts the customer at least 24 hours before delivery. Transit typically takes 4–8 weeks. Delivery is to one accessible entry point; inside placement, unpacking, and setup are not included unless arranged in advance. We recommend inspecting the item upon arrival. Shipping is included in the list price for delivery within the contiguous United States.
Local Pickup:
Local customers are welcome to visit our Oregon warehouse to inspect items prior to purchase and to arrange pickup. Local pickup includes no shipping or handling charges.
