Description:
For a narrative of these buffets' origin see the photo of the plaque installed by the maker: they were commissioned by order of Count Ernesto Turato, designed by Lodovico Pogliaghi and constructed by several woodcarvers and cabinetmakers in 1880. They were completely restored to perfect condition approximately 10 years ago. We will be happy to arrange for viewings and provide additional information at your request.
Dimensions:
15' 3" height x 10' 4" wide x 33" deep (each)
Condition:
Overall, this piece is in very good antique condition with no woodworm, no dry rot, and no structural issues. It shows minor surface wear consistent with age and historical use, which contributes to its authentic character.
Shipping Freight:
Large items are delivered using trusted small-business transport companies experienced in handling antiques and fine furniture. Delivery is to one accessible entry point and does not include inside placement, unpacking, or setup unless arranged in advance.
Transit time typically ranges from 4-8 weeks. Customers will be contacted in advance to coordinate delivery. We recommend inspecting the item upon delivery.
For customers who require a shorter delivery window, FedEx Freight shipping may be requested for select items. This method typically offers faster transit but involves crated delivery to an exterior location or garage and carriers an additional shipping fee. Please contact us prior to purchase to confirm availability, timing, and cost.
