Description:
The 130 year old Saint Sepulcher church in Nivelles, Belgium closed in 2019 due to structural issues that were not economically practical to repair. It was deconsecrated that same year. In February 2024 we purchased the furnishings with the hope of salvaging them and placing them in new homes in the USA.
This beautiful 20 foot long balcony railing is one of the furnishings. This railing dates to the construction of the Nivelles church circa 1890. It's made from solid oak finished to a dark oak color.
Condition:
It's in very good antique condition: note several minor cracks in the pillars. There are also minor chips and discolorations consistent with its age. As we do with all of our furniture, we finished it with a coat of antique grade paste wax that will maintain its beauty for years to come.
Dimensions (Total Length):
36" height x 19' 4" length

Transit typically takes 4–8 weeks. Delivery is to one accessible entry point; inside placement, unpacking, and setup are not included unless arranged in advance. We recommend inspecting the item upon arrival. Shipping is included in the list price for delivery within the contiguous United States.
