We believe they originated in France although we have no specific provenance. The elegant Gothic revival frames are oak wood finished to a dark oak color. The frames are complex and detailed with classic Gothic styling. The frames show very minor chips and scratches in a few places as well as several (2 or 3) small missing trim parts and one finial that doesn't quite match the others. Please examine the frame photos carefully. As we do with all of our woodwork, we finished the frames with a coat of antique grade paste wax that will maintain their beauty for years to come.\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nDimensions:\u003cbr\u003e\n57\" heigh x 25\" wide x 2\" length\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003e\nCondition:\u003cbr\u003e\nOverall, this piece is in very good antique condition with no woodworm, no dry rot, and no structural issues.
