This is a premium quality desk that is a true standout. It shows excellent fit and finish, featuring deep carvings on all surfaces. It is made from solid oak finished dark and highlighted by a leather writing surface. Overall this desk is in very good antique condition with no woodworm or dry rot. Note several minor cracks in the panels due to normal shrinkage of the wood with age. The original leather top is beautifully patinated, showing 100+ years of careful use. As we do with all of our furniture, we finished it with a coat of antique grade paste wax that will maintain its beauty for years to come. Dimensions: 59\" long, 31\" deep (front to back) and 55\" high.
